ECCA - Victorian's "DRIVE DAY"
Photos by MARY

Melbourne Sky Line

We had 8 Reeks in total, including a nice new yellow one. Cameron was the first one there and the last to leave
( I hope you enjoyed your little spin! ). It was fun running around with " witches hats " trying to save parking spots for them all!!! There was no room left for the Lambo drivers by the time everyone got there, but they didn't seem to mind too much.

After picking which Lambo ( not replica's ) we were going to take home, we headed off around the Albert Park GP track. As usual we did not get far before we stopped to get some photos and talk for another 30 minutes, we then went around the track to pit straight where we repeated our first effort. By this time Allan Purvis had to leave for another engagement so we followed him back around the track to pick up his car, it had been at least 12 years since he had driven one, so as you can imagine he was a very happy man.

We all went to a local pub for lunch and were able to sit out the front next to our cars. Just after lunch we were left wondering if the 15 young ladies who had gathered across the road were interested in Dweeby or WebGoat.

We then went for a short drive down to the beach and had a cuppa before departing. I don't know about the others but I had a great time just seeing that many cars cruising the streets, in fact when we got home some people walking down the street said to me
" We saw 8 of those cars flying down dank street earlier", it's amazing how these cars look fast even when doing 50kph.

Heyyy
Great day out, great to finally join a convoy and meet a few more fans of our obsessions, great to see everyone is down to earth and easy going makes for very pleasant company

Hi all, thanks to Scott for organising the fun day. It was good to catch up.

A big thanks goes to Scott for organising a great day. We had a great time, especially since I was privileged enough to be "temporary custodian" to Ron's reek which gave me the biggest buzz ever. It was great to see a big turnout, and meet a few new people. It was especially nice to see a couple of the ladies turn up too.

Mary.
